Ex off Island #17 : Homeland of Henri Cartier-Bresson, France - Paris 1

Iron Lady of Paris

This post will be about my travelling in Paris, France.
When come to street photography, I believe most people will know Henri Cartier- Bresson.
Those who do not know, he is a legendary French Photographer
who had engrave his name in Street Photography.
His work and his concept of " Decisive Moment " is well known and practice.
( I believe this " decisive moment " is something most street photographer searching for :)
So in this post, I hope I can find that " Decisive Moment " Henri Cartier - Bresson talking about.
We will begin with the train ride that was apparently really beautiful...I am surprised.

The Ride

Travelling in Paris will not be complete without appreciating
Mona Lisa Smile the Masterpiece of Leonardo Da Vinci.
So, Let go to the Lourve Museum, one of the great Museum in the World.

The Lourve

Mona Lisa Attraction

Aside from Mona Lisa, there are also a lot more art work which you can see and enjoy.
I took this advantages to learn some framing and composition skill
from the famous art work and of course some good photo of people enjoying the great work :)
The Musuem was huge and you will need more then one day to actually see all the work,
so due to time concern, I did not get to see every exhibition in the Museum.
( You get free entrance for student under 26 that study in Europe,Enjoy! :)

Appreciation

Next, I also went to Montmartre which is a hill in the north of Paris.
Due to it is a higher ground, you will be able to see the panoramic view of Paris and the view is amazing.
There are various ways to reach the top and I used the path from Place des Abbesses.
I travel by subway and go down at Abbesses metro station,
Once you leave the metro station you will reach the " Wall of Love " where you can see "I love you "
written in every language from the world.

Wall of Love with love

You can reach the top of Montmartre through the vernicular or stairs.
It is actually not really high hence is not really difficult to reach the top through the stairs.
Some how you got to be careful of some people who try to make some money out of you.
There are some people there who try to sell you some stuff by force as something I met in Milan
(Apparently, I was one of the victim and have to pay 10 euro for some string,
but at least I came home in one piece with nothing lose )
